6.Mood project
Turning my fears and feelings into an illustrated characterI've always loved drawing, and when I got into my teens, I started using this hobby as a mechanism to capture how I felt, a kind of visual journal. After a while, I realized that I had invented a character to do it. This one stayed hidden in my notebooks for a few years until some friends of mine saw it and liked it. They told me that they identified with some of them, something that I had never considered.
So I thought about uploading them to an Instagram account and named it mood. Although it is not an account with many followers or getting much feedback, it is an account that has given me a lot of joy. These illustrations usually represent fears or anguish that I have had, feelings that stayed inside me and that I thought were difficult to explain, since I did not think that someone could understand me. However, several times when uploading my drawings, people I did not know very well have told me that they felt very identified or even that it had helped them. So I can say that it is one of the projects (to put it in some way) that I have done that I have been most proud of, because by sharing something very personal I have been able to help myself as well as other people.
