4. The rider
Telling a story through photography from different points of view“The rider” is a couple series of sequence photos that I took for the final exercise of my first-year photography class. We were asked to record in three photos an action from the point of view of one single person.
I decided to portray an everyday action, getting into a car, but adding an unknown, an element that would make us ask who the girl was and what her story was. I also wanted to take aesthetics into account, taking inspiration from the 70s and choosing very bright colors.

Although I only had to take three photos from one point of view, I ended up doing the exercise from four different points of view and in the end, I decided to stick with these two, since I didn't know which one to choose. Later on, for another exercise, I kind of had to adapt the first sequence to drawings, so I could use it as a reference.
